OPENING ABOUT THE QUOTE OF SERVICES

Representatives of the Amethyst Radiotherapy Center in Krakow met with Krzysztof Łanda, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Health. The main topic of the meeting was the issue of quality and valuation of medical services in the field of radiotherapy.

- We presented our experience regarding radiotherapy standards based on international guidelines and the results of monitoring the effects of treatment that we conduct at our facility in Krakow. - says Dr. Marcin Hetnał, director of the Amethyst Radiotherapy Center.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Bożena Kozanecka, MD, director of treatment at the Specialist Hospital. L. Rydygiera, where the Amethyst Radiotherapy Center operates. The facility is an important element in the comprehensive treatment of oncological patients provided by one of the largest hospitals in Małopolska.

Additionally, the issue of pricing of radiotherapy services was discussed. In this case, Amethyst can refer not only to the meticulous cost accounting carried out in the Krakow center, but also to the experience of networks in other European countries.

Amethyst has already submitted detailed data on treatment costs to the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System.
