The Amethyst Radiotherapy Center in Krakow is a private medical facility specializing in oncology. Patients are treated here using state-of-the-art equipment and highly specialized radiotherapy procedures.

If you are:
  • holder of a valid license to practice the profession and experience as a nurse in a closed healthcare facility
  • a specialist in the field of nursing or you are in the process of specializing
  • teamwork-oriented
  • empathetic in contacts with patients and staff
And in addition you have:
  • current CPR course
  • completed specialist courses in oncology or applicable to this field of medicine
  • ability to use English at a level that allows for free communication
  • knowledge of patient rights and obligations and communication techniques
  • ability to cope with stressful situations
  • experience in surgical work is welcome

Then you are the ideal candidate for the position of Nurse, Nurse Specialist, Nurse Specialist in our Center.

The basic duties of the position are:
  • comprehensive nursing care
  • administration of contrast agents for examinations
  • work in the brachytherapy laboratory – active participation in procedures with anesthesia
  • observation of patients immediately after anesthesia
  • maintaining medical records in accordance with the procedures at the Center
  • readiness to intervene in life-threatening situations

Patients are treated using the latest equipment and highly specialized radiotherapy procedures. Amethyst places particular emphasis on implementing the latest scientific achievements while applying the highest quality standards.

We are currently offering employment opportunities for the following positions:

Medical physicist

Your scope of responsibilities:

  • Treatment planning for brachytherapy and teletherapy
  • Performing quality control of teletherapy and brachytherapy devices

Our expectations: 

  • Specialization in medical physics or in progress
  • Willingness to develop and improve professionally

An additional advantage will be:

  • Having a certificate – radiological protection of the patient
  • Possession of accelerator operator qualifications (SA) and/or brachytherapy devices (SZ)
