FAST ONCOLOGY TRACK IN KRAKOW

From the beginning of 2015, the so-called green card and fast track oncology, which aim to provide patients with suspected cancer with an immediate diagnosis, more effective treatment and treatment with greater care. Iwona Hajnosz, journalist of Gazeta Wyborcza Kraków, has prepared a special guide explaining the changes in the health service introduced in the New Year. It presents the individual stages that a patient goes through, from the moment a family doctor suspects cancer to the start of treatment. He also explains the most important rules and terms, such as green card, treatment coordinator or combined treatment.
