RYDYGIERA HOSPITAL HIGH IN THE HOSPITAL RANKING 2015

In the latest Hospital Ranking announced under the patronage of Radio ZET and Rzeczpospolita, the Krakow Specialist Hospital. L. Rydygiera took a high 11th place out of one hundred institutions. It is also the winner of the "Best hospitals in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship" category.

The ranking evaluated hospitals based on many key factors, including the effectiveness and quality of treatment, the quality of patient care and patient comfort, facility management, quality certificates, emergency department operations, and incident and complaint analysis. For the third consecutive year, the Pleszew Medical Center won, scoring 917 points out of a possible 1000. The L. Rydygier Specialist Hospital, with a score of 876,62 points, placed 11th – missing the last facility in the top ten by less than 1,5 points! Meanwhile, in the "Best Hospitals in the Voivodeship" ranking, the Krakow hospital was ranked the best in the entire Małopolska Voivodeship . A key element of the L. Rydygier Specialist Hospital's operations is its well-developed surgical oncology and chemotherapy services, and with the launch of the Amethyst Radiotherapy Center, it has become a full-service oncology center. For patients with indications for inpatient radiotherapy, a special Radiotherapy Department has been prepared in the hospital.
