5. PSYCHOOONCOLOGY FORUM

Psycho-oncology forum for patients, their relatives, professionals and employers is an annual, cyclical event organized by the Krakow Unicorn Association. The host of the Forum is Barbara and Jerzy Stuhr. The main theme of the event is active help for people affected by cancer - both in the context of medical therapy, psychological assistance, and any type of support in treatment and return to activity after the disease. This year's Forum will take place on November 26.

This year's fifth Forum will discuss topics in the field of psychology, psycho-oncology, dietetics, rehabilitation, medicine and many others. The organizers invite all interested people - sick people, their relatives, medical staff, students and employers. This year's Forum will be held entirely online for security reasons. This year's Forum speakers will include: Maria Marczak-Ziętkiewicz, specialist in radiation oncology and Katarzyna Nowak-Ledniowska, psychologist from the Amethyst Radiotherapy Center.

In the section for professionals, Maria Marczak-Ziętkiewicz will talk about working with the Simonton method during radiotherapy of a patient with claustrophobia. During the session for employers, he will discuss the topic of the European Code Against Cancer.
