CULINARY WORKSHOPS FOR PATIENTS

On Friday, September 18 this year. at the Amethyst Radiotherapy Center, oncological patients and their caregivers will be able to take part in a lecture and culinary workshops.

Nutrition during cancer plays an extremely important role, and cancer patients are particularly exposed to nutritional deficiencies and life-threatening malnutrition. Dietitian Ewa Ceborska-Scheiterbauer will talk about how to monitor the patient's nutritional status, adapt dietary recommendations to his nutritional requirements, create an optimal menu and use high-quality and low-processed products.

After the lecture, participants will be able to take part in a culinary show and workshop. They will learn how to prepare nutritious and balanced meals that are the basis of the cancer diet.
